Behind PYRSA is the image of a signal fire: a visible sign creating a connection across a distance. The fire itself is not what matters most, but the people it helps connect.
The flame in the logo and our line reflect that image. “Then and now” connects an old idea with a present-day purpose: giving family, friends and neighbours an easy way to stay in touch.
Sharing the work of connection.
PYRSA distributes internet delivery across several servers. An optional radio adds another way to connect. Sharing this work is central to the idea: depending less on one single place.
A good idea alone cannot deliver a message. Available connections, suitable devices and power are still needed. That is why we talk about preparedness and additional options, rather than a guarantee.
